On the 9th December 2008 the recipe book “Aroma and colour in the kitchen”, by Antonis Nicolaou and George Kyprianou of CyChefs, was successfully presented at the ‘Cine Studio’ at the University of Nicosia and on 14th December at the Cultural Center of occupied Famagusta.

The recipe book “Aroma and colour in the kitchen”, is the first of many gastronomical books scheduled for publication by Antonis Nicolaou by and George Kyprianou (CyChefs). The book contains delicious recipes of local cuisine and adopts a very friendly approach. As you can see a good recipe book is not just a collection of recipes but a companion while cooking. A recipe book should be a submission of knowledge, to give others the ‘know-how’ for better cooking experiences, to look at food from a different point of view and – this also includes the way the dishes are photographed – even the most difficult of recipes can be easy to make when the chef also has a good picture to go.

All these points are successfully accomplished through the book. The book has been published in English and Greek, therefore it can be given as a gift to friends living abroad as well as to relatives. Readers will have the pleasure of learning the mysteries of Cypriot cuisine, international cuisine and more.

The book is divided into three sections:

1. Appetizers and Salads

2. Main Dishes

3. Desserts

Additionally, the helpful tips, the alternative solutions and the terminology given throughout the book will, indeed, turn your wildest imagination into reality!
